5 CS2 StatTrak Trade-Ups
September 10, 2026
StatTrak trade-ups in CS2 follow the same rarity ladder as normal contracts, with one hard rule: every input must be StatTrak, and the outcome is StatTrak too. This guide covers the rules, then lists five live StatTrak contracts with float bands in the write-up. Cost, expected value, and profit update live on each card.
You can load any card into the Trade-Up Calculator to tweak floats, fees, or fillers before you buy. For Covert gold ladders, see knife trade-ups. For the full rulebook, use the CS2 trade-up guide.
StatTrak trade-up rules
- All or nothing. You cannot mix StatTrak and non-StatTrak skins in one contract.
- Starts at Mil-Spec. Consumer and Industrial skins have no StatTrak variants.
- Outcome matches the inputs. Ten StatTrak inputs return one StatTrak skin of the next rarity.
- Gloves are never StatTrak. Covert StatTrak contracts that hit golds are knife pools only.
- Float math is unchanged. Output float still follows the average of your ten inputs and the outcome float range.
- Price the StatTrak book. StatTrak asks are a separate market from the normal finish. Always confirm EV on the live card.
Selection rules for this post
- Screened at publish for live expected profit of at least 8% and fully priced StatTrak outcomes
- Optimal float span at least 0.03
- Contract cost high enough to avoid penny-book noise
- Distinct collections across the picks
- Input asks stay tight across marketplaces when books allow
- Live cards show current cost, EV, and profit, and open in the Trade-Up Calculator
Five picks at a glance
- StatTrak™ M249 | O.S.I.P.R. (Factory New), Snakebite, optimal float 0.0000 to 0.0487

How to run a StatTrak contract
- Confirm cost, expected value, and expected profit after your fee on the live card.
- Stay inside the optimal float range.
- Keep every slot StatTrak. One normal skin breaks the contract.
- Use Open in Calculator when you want to swap a filler or reprice with your sell fee.
- Recheck prices right before you commit. StatTrak books can move faster than normal finishes on thin listings.

FAQ
Can you mix StatTrak and non-StatTrak skins in a CS2 trade-up?
No. Every input must be StatTrak, or every input must be non-StatTrak. A StatTrak contract returns a StatTrak outcome of the next rarity.
Do Consumer and Industrial skins have StatTrak trade-ups?
No. StatTrak starts at Mil-Spec. Consumer and Industrial grades do not have StatTrak variants.
Can gloves be StatTrak from a trade-up?
No. Gloves cannot be StatTrak. For Covert gold ladders, see CS2 knife trade-ups.
How do you pick these StatTrak trade-ups?
Picks were screened for fully priced StatTrak outcomes, a usable optimal float span, live expected profit of at least 8 percent, a minimum contract cost, and tight input listings across marketplaces. Always recheck cost and EV on the live card.
Where do I see live cost, EV, and profit?
On each live trade-up card below, or by opening the same recipe in the Trade-Up Calculator with StatTrak enabled. This article does not freeze dollar costs or profit percents in the prose because those move with the market.
Where else should I look?

Final notes
StatTrak premiums change with listing depth. Re-open each card before you buy, set the fee for where you sell, and stay inside the float band. Build or tweak any of these crafts in the Trade-Up Calculator, or browse more contracts in the Trade-Up Database.
